Arezzo, AR, Tuscany, Italy -October 2016
Our firm has worked on the interior design of this elegant apartment in an elegant, early last century in the beautiful city of Arezzo. The Client had very refined tastes and love of the early architectural style '900 so we developed a set of patterns and combinations that evoke the Art Deco style inspired by Mackintosh teacher who inspired the wall decorations entrance and living.
The love for design and good taste is highlighted by the choice of furniture large brands: the small table-work of art Traccia for Simon by Cassina; armchair and poufs Fjord by Moroso, Lamps by Flos, Pallucco and Foscarini; the Kartell drawers, the Hello Lovely mirror by Moroso and so on...
The milk white craft kitchen contrasts with the blocking of fires with Barazza matte black hood, everything is housed in a kitchen with dove-gray walls. The entire house except the kitchen is characterized by the last turn of the century original floor in cotto flooring.
The master bedroom has a wallpaper inspired by the Chinese silk wallpaper of early '900 and with its natural decor incorporates the floor lamps Papiri that serve as abajour.
The children's room has a blue starry sky (like the existing cabinet blue box) from which hangs like a huge full moon the polycarbonate Iceglob suspension of Lumen Center Italy.
Very nice idea: Use the hanging cuboid already owned by the Client to create a sort of Empire State Building where is climbing a very nice King Kong asking for help!
The TV room is filled with designer furnishings (the Long Island Flexform sofa, mirror and ottomans by Moroso, the Twiggy by Foscarini and the library by Pallucco).
Dining room: table and chairs Saarinen Tulip vintage (now published by Knoll), the Fjord armchair Moroso, the Castiglioni Arco and two Parentesi of Flos keep company with two showcases Stockholm Ikea (Hacker).
